Dear Business Leaders:

Arkansas Lady Hawks age 12 and under basketball team is seeking sponsorship for the 2009 basketball season.  Gene Alexander is the head coach assisted by his wife Veronica Alexander.  The Alexanders’ are residents of Sherwood, Arkansas and are both full-time employees of the Arkansas Army National Guard. The team hopes to raise funds and seek sponsorship from local businesses, residents, family and friends.  Your support will provide an opportunity for twelve young ladies to showcase their hard work by entering tournaments in surrounding states while continuing to develop their skills.

Funds will be used to assist with tournament fees, transportation expenses and player support. Parents are required to fund their daughter’s uniform, meals and lodging needs. However, not every player is fully financially supported. By donating any amount, you will help make our goal obtainable.

We seek whatever assistance you can provide, whether it is a single donation, purchase of uniforms or the sponsorship of 1 player for the season.  To sponsor a player for a season is estimated at $500.00 per player. 

May we count on you for sponsorship? We are asking that all check contributions be made payable to the Arkansas Lady Hawks and mailed to the return address listed on the pledge form. The Arkansas Hawks is a non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible; a receipt will be mailed or faxed upon receipt of donation.
